Where are you on the scale?
To shift your emotions and your life, you need to gradually move up the emotional scale. It is impossible to shift from a feeling of grief to a feeling of joy. Instead look for thoughts that will change your perception and shift your feelings one step at a time - for example from grief to guilt. Despite steps being incremental, make it your life’s work to spend the majority of your day in the higher states of emotion found at the top of the scale.
